All too often we’re made to suffer in silence. Especially when it comes to the stigma of arrest and incarceration, people can be too afraid to speak up and feel as if they’re all alone.
But our stories can break through our isolation. There are people from across this County who share your experiences who themselves are waiting for confirmation that they’re not the only ones struggling. That it’s not all their fault.
That’s why we’re working on a Storytelling Project where everyday community members can sit down with us to share their story, either on video or get support in writing a personal essay to be published on our blog or as an op-ed. Sign up on our Volunteer Form and let us know if you’d like to share your story and have your voice be heard.
